The design process in Landscape Architecture starts with research/analysis and planning. The plan sets the stage for a design concept, and illustrative graphics help create a vision for the concept. The concept is hashed out between the client, designers, and other consultants, and developed into construction documents. The Landscape Architect can oversee the construction process to ensure that the project comes to life as planned, and post-occupancy evaluation can be used to evaluate maintenance practices and ensure satisfaction with the project.
